Grace Campbell: A Show About Me(n)
Presented By: Mick Perrin Worldwide
Grace, 'one of the funniest women in Britain' (Times), makes her eagerly awaited Fringe return following 2019's sell-out run, with a new show about her two lifelong passions; men and herself. In a show promising to be fiery and explicit, Grace is going to let go of her need for male validation, with a show that is bound to make all men obsessed with her. Not that she cares... As seen on BBC, Channel 4 and Dave. 'Articulate, witty and very funny' ***** (Edinburgh Reporter). 'A bullish, complicated, firecracker' **** (Metro). **** (ThreeWeeks).
We had read the Hype, and having laughed so much at Susie McCabe, were determined to see the woman touted as the funniest woman in europe. but what a disappointment. Grace is vulgar, brash and yells at you through her mic. Not my form of my comedy nor that of the Gen zers with me. There were a few good lines that we tittered at, and some of the audience were having a roaringly good time. probably just me, but seems to be more hype than substance.
