Jim Daly has funny bones. He’s funny about football and now combines his witty and whimsical observations on the love of his favourite team with the love of being a parent. I saw JD’s gig at the Brighton Fringe and he was as funny as I’d expected. His Crystal Palace podcast persona is on full display as he engagingly takes us through how his football life has been affected by the arrival of his daughter Maria, his love of Palace, Fantasy Football and - bizarrely - Tony Cascarino! Funny, whimsical, genuinely heartwarming, this is JD raw and unplugged, the bloke we have come to know and love from his weekly pods. It’s the ‘world of JD’ brought to life in words, pictures and song. Well played Jim! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

jIM IS HILARIOUS, AND AS A NEW DAD MYSELF, i SEE SO MANY SIMILARITIES IN WHAT HE TALKS ABOUT TO MY OWN EXPERIENCES. yOU GET A SENSE OF jIM'S WARM-HEARTEDNESS AS YOU LISTEN TO HIS STORIES, AND A SENSE OF HIS LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY AND FOR THE GAME OF FOOTBALL TOO. tHERE'S A LOT OF DEPTH TO jIM'S WORK, AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU GO AND SEE HIS SHOW.

Jim has shown that football and fatherhood works perfectly in one comedy show. As expected when I watched his show in London he certainly did make me laugh. If football and comedy is your thing and want to know why Tony cascarino plays a major part in jim’s life this is a show you certainly do not want to miss

Heartwarming and hilarious in equal measure. I never knew I needed Tony Cascarino in my life so much! The ideal show for football fan recent parents, but also a fantastic day or night out for anyone with a love of the beautiful game and Tony Cascarino. Jim’s videos on YouTube are also essential viewing.

Highly recommended for anyone regardless of whether you like football or have small children. I saw this show at the Museum of Comedy in London and Jim has a real human touch to his comedy which everyone can relate to and enjoy. Not only will you laugh your head off, you will come out feeling better about humanity. It’s not often you can say that these days so don’t miss this opportunity!

Boy could I relate to this show. Although not sure if good or bad thing I could not stop laughing as so much of the content hit home. Left the show with a positive glow and could not help but chuckle all the way home

Jimmy jimmy jimmy!! Absolutely loved this show. I’m not a football fan but I didn’t need to be. Jim is engaging and relatable as a funny man dad lad from start to finish. His tales of fatherhood are heartwarming and hilarious. I highly recommend!

Where else are you going to get endearing tales of parenthood combined with references to Irish strikers who perhaps didn’t have the paperwork to play for Ireland? Very fun. Enjoy!

We saw this show recently at the oxford comedy festival and what a lovely hour we spent listening to jim's take on football with fatherhood. Jim's gentle humour reflects the host we know from his many podcasts and he has a real human touch that you can relate to. You don't need to love football or be a parent to enjoy the show, you will laugh. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to get to see this show twice. Once in oxford and once in Edinburgh and Jim was on top form both times with great wit and brilliant and original comedic ideas along with a great homage to Tony cascarino. It really is what you'd call 'gentle comedy' at its very best. You must try and catch Jim daly in Edinburgh this year.
