A classic love story portrayed in traditional Kunqu opera form. Rarely performed in the West, Kunqu is one of the most ancient forms of opera in the world and the North Kunqu Opera Company is one of its leading ambassadors. The company strives to maintain the highest standards and traditions of Kunqu opera, and to share its knowledge and experience with the rest of the world.
