This show is both hilarious and beautiful. Set in a hospital, where life is not guaranteed, Nalini manages to lightly dance between her portrayal of several distinct characters coming to terms with the limitations of existence, while each confronting death in their own ways. The characters are innocently self-possessed, and strung together their loosely connected stories weave an absurd dream, reminding you to laugh where you didn’t think you should. Nalini plays with her audience, which is so fun to witness, especially her Marilyn Merlot character! Highly recommend you see this before the fringe is up! This is a skilled writer, actor and comedian at work, exploring and expanding the realm of not just live theater, but also comedy. It’s dark, it’s deep, and Nalini took me on the ride with so much warmth and humor, I left feeling everything is gonna be ok. And also laughing to myself about Marylin Merlot!!
