PURCHASING TICKETS

 

[1.1] All Tickets are sold subject to availability and these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions should be read carefully before purchase, and any queries relating to them should be raised with us before purchase, as the purchase of ticket (s) constitutes an agreement of these Terms and Conditions. A valid Ticket must be produced to get into an Event. Please notify us of any access requirements at the time of booking. Removing any part of, altering or defacing the ticket may invalidate Your Ticket.

 

[1.2] The Venue management reserves the right to refuse the Ticket holder's admission to the Venue in reasonable circumstances, including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a Ticket is void.

 

[1.3] The Venue's management also reserves the right to request that Ticket holders leave the Venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, the Venue may remove a Ticket holder who:

  • has behaved in the Venue in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of the Venue, has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or
  • uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or
  • in the reasonable opinion of the Venue is under the influence of drugs or has consumed an excessive amount of alcohol; or
  • fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age; or
  • obstructs gangways, access-ways, exits, entrances or staircases, congregates in non-designated areas or seeks entry to stands or seats for which they do not hold a Ticket.


[1.4] No refunds will be given to Ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples above.

 

[1.5] Venue (Except McEwan Hall) performances have unreserved seating and cannot guarantee that all party members will be seated together.

 

[1.6] You are responsible for checking Your Ticket(s) as mistakes cannot be rectified after purchase. Please check your ticket (s) carefully before making the final purchase on the website.

 

[1.7] We will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. 

 

[1.8] It is not possible to issue a duplicate ticket(s), for example, for non-seated events where there is a possibility of both the original and duplicate ticket (s) being used, compromising the licensed capacity of the Venue.

 

[1.9]. Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and Venue regulations whilst attending the Event. If Ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the Event, prior notice should be provided when ordering Tickets. Special effects may include, without limitation, sound, audio-visual, pyrotechnic effects or lighting effects.

 

[1.10] Any complaints about a Tickets holder's seating or ability to view a production should be made promptly to the Venue Management either before or *during the performance (*Within the first 15 minutes of the performance). Any complaints made after the performance will not be considered, and no refund or exchange will be issued.

 

[1.11] The purchase is final, and tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded. The exception is made only in the case of a performance being cancelled. If a performance is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a refund.

 

[1.12] To avail of a 2-for-1 ticket offer, please ensure that tickets have been booked in multiples of 2 for this offer to apply. The 2-for-1 offer applies only to full-price tickets.

 

[1.13] Tickets are sold subject to the management's right to alter the advertised arrangements or the cast.

 

[1.14] Senior citizens, the unemployed, customers with disabilities, Young Scot, MU and Equity card holders, as well as all young people under the age of 16 and students in full-time education, are eligible for concession-priced tickets for most shows at Assembly. If concession tickets have been booked, valid proof of concession for each ticket must be shown at the box office. You will be charged the full adult ticket cost if proof cannot be shown.

 

[1.15] Babes in Arms policy varies from Venue to Venue, and please check with the Venue about its babies in arms policy.

 

[1.16] EdFest (Showcatcher Ltd) Operates only on E-ticketing.

 

[1.18] The price of the ticket shall be the price set at the time We accept Your order. All advertised prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and per Ticket booking fee (where applicable) but exclusive of any per transaction, collection or delivery fee.

 

[1.19] All Concessions and Discounts are subject to availability. They may be restricted to certain price levels and performances and can be withdrawn by the Venue without notice.

 

[1.20] Only one Concession or Discount is available per ticket.

 

[1.21] No order will be accepted until we receive full payment in cleared funds. We reserve the right to cancel any booking that we reasonably suspect has been made fraudulently.

 

[1.22] If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect, regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on the Site or otherwise communicated to You or You are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or You are able to order a Ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale. We will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund you the amount you paid. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction of this website.

 

[1.23] The personal assistant of disabled customers in the UK are entitled to a free ticket in the UK if the person they are accompanying can show a locally issued disability card. Guide and Hearing dogs are welcome, but other animals are not permitted inside the theatre. Please get in touch with Venue directly to acquire access tickets.

 

[1.24] Late Night Performance – Note that, for the purposes of performance listing, each day begins at 05:00. For example, a performance listed online and, in the programme, as '00:30 Tuesday' will refer to a performance starting in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

 

[1.25] Unless otherwise stated, seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis; however, Venues reserve the right to allocate seating in accordance with local Government rules and guidelines, which may result in groups being seated separately.
