UNMISTAKABLY ELLA

Wow...this woman has real charisma. Her show is an intimate journey which blends thoughtfully crafted humor with genuine vulnerability. From lost bunnies to lost love we think we have a found a new star in Ella James. Bravo.
Tim Carroll

Heartfelt and vulnerable!

In classic Ella style she shares a very personal story about her relationship with her mother and how it shaped her personal and professional journey. Funny, inspiring and surprising!
Carson White

A laugh around every corner

Ella runs you through the gamut of emotions - but mostly she has you laughing. From an overbearing mother to Larrs the Filmmaker there’s a laugh around every corner.

Ella James is unmistakably Excellent!

Ella is witty, wise , and bloody funny! She is a born storyteller - this is her calling. This is a fabulous show from beginning to end. Go Ella!

Unmistakably excellent

Very amusing poignant comedy from a talented lady. The best comedy is based on real life and this does not fail. Recommended.

WONDERFUL!

We laughed, we cried, we loved! Such a personal story told with heart and humour, a true inspiration. A natural storyteller you could listen to forever...and not just because of that magnificent voice!!

Brilliantly Ella

Absolute hoot! Catch Ella James now because fame beckons and tickets will be like hens' teeth in the future. Funny, moving and clever, she's the real deal.

SO MUCH TALENT

A born storyteller with a glorious voice mixed from dark chocolate and honey. Ella will make you laugh and cry – with her and for her – as she leads you through her life (I'm still angry at the girl who took her bunny!). Do yourself a favour and take the journey with her. You will love it.
Liz Swanton

A wit as sharp as they come!

Do yourself a favour... press play, now. Enjoy the ride as Ella takes you through her world... a great way to end a tumultuous year (you can't have a tumult without "U") :)

UNMISTAKABLY ELLA

A one woman show about love, life, death, and chasing your dream.

“A ménage a trois between brilliant stand up,

Heart melting story telling and a kick ass one woman show.’

Funny, charming, gutsy, and vulnerable.’

‘…The antidote to a divided world. A rare night out where you just feel good about life; ; about people, about possibilities, about love, about family, even about sex and death!

‘What a lovely woman, what a beautiful show. So personal and intimate that it actually feels like hearing an old friend’s life stories over dinner after a long time apart. The only thing I was missing was probably a glass of wine!’

‘She’s an AMAZING discovery…’

‘She’s a NATURAL!…’ ***** Studio City Lifestyle

Now you can grab a glass of whatever and enjoy this intimate journey without leaving your home (sniff, yes, I miss Live theatre so much too! EJ)

Best known as the GPS voice in 75% of cars around the world, Ella James is an Australian woman born to a British mother, now living in Hollywood (well, the ‘Valley’ which is more Hollywood adjacent…EJ), and pursuing her dreams as an actor, voice actor and comedian.

A one night only, one woman show, Ella wrote and performed what turned into a 17 week run at Two Roads Theater in LA’s Studio City, with plans to tour it to Sydney, NYC and London…then came the pandemic.

Now is your chance to see UNMISTAKABLY ELLA! A night of storytelling, comedy and improv. Grab your socially distanced bubble, and enjoy!

Ahhhhh, Covid! How you have changed our lives!  I recorded this show, never thinking I would be streaming it. After staging one night, and then being invited by Two Roads Theater to extend, and extend ultimately running for 17 weeks, my plan (hahahaha) was to tour it to London, Sydney and NYC, then came the pandemic. So, the quality of the footage is not what one would expect of something for a site of this high standard, and for that I apologize, but I hope you can put that to one side and enjoy it as the live audiences did.

Runs 44 minutes.

Available to watch from: 1 Nov 2020 03:42 until 31 Mar 2021 23:51
